JOIN US AT THE HOPI FARMERS MARKET!
Since 2015, we have partnered with community organizations such as the Hopi Federally Recognized Tribal Extension Program, the Natwani Coalition, Hopi Food Cooperative, and the Peace Academic Center to host the Hopi Farmers Market. Together, we organize free monthly events to connect local farmers and locally grown food with the community. Our market provides a space for homemade goods and local produce to be shared directly with our community, which helps strengthen the Hopi food system.
At each Hopi Farmers Market, we host an interactive booth offering a variety of homegrown produce and processed goods from our farms, gardens, and orchards. We also provide vegetable starts, fruit trees, perennial shrubs, and native plants, all grown at our nursery. Our core volunteers and interns are essential to the success of these markets, handling logistics, coordinating booth setup, assisting visitors, and managing cleanup.
Our vibrant and bustling market attracts a growing number of local vendors, bringing an exciting variety to the community. From May to October, each market is filled with good energy and offers new experiences for visitors.
